Excruciating Life and Turmoil of a Christian Convert prisoner after Release in Iran!
Hussein Saketi Taromsari, known as Stephen, was reportedly jailed since 2013 to 2014 for alleged charges of spreading Christian faith, VOCIR has learned.
The Christian Convert was arrested by Intelligence Service officials of North Khorasan Province in Golestan forest on July 23, 2013. Officials referred his case to the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Alborz Province for the vague charges of “disturbing national security through spreading Christian faith” when he had spent 15 days in the solitary confinements.
In addition, Iran’s security forces seized his personal belongings- the amount of 45,000 $ as Guarantee Cheques and 5000 $ cash and ID cards- in an attack on his house. Officials continuously refused demand of recapturing his belongings, as he said to the rights group.
“I’ve no money, no identification. How can I be hired?” he added.
He was kept in Ward 7 of the notorious Central Karaj prison along with Behnam Irani, Ali Moezi and Mohammad-Reza Poorshajari. Officials released him on October 29, 2014
