Mass arrest of Iranian Civil Activists

Tehran— A huge number of civil rights activists and protesters have been arrested in Iran today and Saturday.

According to the grassroots reports from Tehran, Mohammad Nourizad, Esmail (Zartosht) Ahmadi Ragheb, Hooshang Ne’matifar, plus six more activists have been arrested by Iranian security forces, today.

Meanwhile, Simin Eyvaz Zadeh (mother of imprisoned child rights activist Omid Alishenas), Hashem Zeinali (father of Saeed Zeinali, missing student activist in Iranian prisons since July 1999), Reza Malek (former political prisoner), Mohsen Shoja and a number of followers of Mohammad Ali Taheri ( imprisoned spiritual teacher) were arrested two days ago.

This report can not identify all the names and the exact number of detainees.
